Hello, fellow dog lovers! My name is Scott Kluck and I am the owner of Barkivore.

As the founder of Kansas City’s premier customized meal delivery service,Healthy Meals, Inc., I’ve always believed that good food is more than just sustenance—it’s an expression of care and love. Our team at Healthy Meals, Inc. crafts personalized meal plans that cater to individual tastes, dietary needs, and wellness goals. From busy professionals to fitness enthusiasts, we’ve been serving up nourishment with a side of convenience since 2009.

Why create Barkivore?

One day, as I watched my dog, Annika, devour a plate of my leftovers from dinner, it hit me. Why am I feeding my dog dry, processed kibble? It was so obvious that she MUCH prefers real food. Annika deserved the same level of quality, the same farm-to-bowl goodness. And thus, Barkivore was born—a brand dedicated to providing Kansas City’s dogs with meals that make their tails wag and their hearts leap. Annika has never been more energetic throughout the day or more excited when I am about to fill her bowl.

Local Love: As a Kansas Citian, I’m committed to our community. Both Healthy Meals, Inc. and Barkivore proudly serve only the metro KC area. We know so many of our long-term clients by name (and now even some of their dogs’ names too!), and we believe in supporting local!
